Teaching Assistant 1:1 SEN Support
We want to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Grove Road Primary School. If you have the skills to provide teaching and learning support for KS2 pupils with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you. Training will be provided although prior experience would be ideal.

- have an awareness and understanding of Special Educational Needs and a desire to extend this knowledge through professional development;
- will work well as part of a team, working effectively with children, staff, parents and other professionals from outside agencies;

Grove Road Primary School in Tring is a large and welcoming primary school, just minutes away from Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead. We offer full induction and training programme with a friendly, warm and dedicated team as well as enthusiastic and very well-behaved learners.

Grove Road Primary & Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; qualifications (where applicable); identity (including online check) and right to work. All applicants will be required to provide two references.
If you have lived outside the UK within the last 5 years, you will be required to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct or a police certificate from the country/countries you have resided in. Kindly note that this is at the expense of the candidate, as well as any costs involved for translating into English.
Salary is dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience H1.1 (Scale Point 2) £22,366 - H3.2 (Scale Point 6) £23,893 pro-rata.
